Time flies when you’re having fun–it’s hard to believe it has been almost a year since the last Dec. 24 Holiday Show took place at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in L.A. The Los Angeles County Arts Commission has produced a free event each year since 1959, showcasing the incredible talent that dwells within the heart of the nation’s most populous county (close to 10 million!) Similar to the 1925 time capsule rediscovered and opened on November 13, 2014, as part of the ongoing renovation of the Hall of Justice, the 55th Annual Los Angeles County Holiday Celebration is a time capsule of arts and entertainment. If you could roll back the clock, you’d see an all-star cast of entertainers and performers (including known celebrities) at the annual Holiday Show. Last year The Count Basie Orchestra (1935-current) was among the acts that graced the stage, helping the production win an EMMY. Admission to the 2,800 seat venue is first come, first serve. Held Wednesday, December 24, 2014 from 3-6 p.m. at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, both the event and parking are free to the public. Here’s more info!
