Men Will Fight at Weekend Faire
You really don’t see many women invading the sport of jousting. Not that there’s anything wrong with it! But this weekend March 7-9, 2014, you’ll see plenty of spirited action that includes guys dressed in armor battling it both on horses and on the ground, fake swords, real fire and plenty of drama. Yes, boys will be boys at Sonora Celtic Faire.
Non-stop entertainment featuring Scottish & Irish Clans, belly dance troupes, Scottish dancers, Irish Step dancers, 600 costumed re-enactors, Welsh longbow archery, a giant, a fire breathing dragon, Vikings, jugglers, fire eater, Celtic food court and Celtic marketplace, with 80 Celtic vendors, artisans, and crafts persons makes the Sonora Celtic Faire a fantastic weekend pick. A special feature at the faire this year will be the Scot’s & Irish-Whiskey Bars.
