Music Festivals Feature Bluegrass and Cajun

There’s an eclectic mix at music festivals throughout California this weekend.
- PARKFIELD BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL – Camp, stay and listen to a full weekend of bluegrass with The Hay Dudes, Next Generation, The Sonoran Dogs, Wild Sage, Steep Ravine, and a Kids Corner bluegrass workshop.
- WHITMORE MOUNTAIN MUSIC FESTIVAL – featuring Old Kennett String Band and a Motorcycle Run.
- SAN DIEGO CAJUN / ZYDECO FESTIVAL – San Diego’s Gator By the Bay with Grammy winning BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet, California Honeydrops and other Cajun /Zydeco bands, the musical feast includes ample food and drinks, dancing and superb entertainment.
- BLUEGRASS IN YERMO: Over in Yermo at Calico Ghost Town the annual Bluegrass Festival has quite a line up with nearly a dozen bands such as Back Porch Bluegrass, Burning Heart Bluegrass, The Get Down Boys .
- THREE RIVERS MUSIC FESTIVAL: Bluegrass, Folk & Rock are in the mix for this weekend’s fest on May 9.
