CLAREMONT, CALIF.–Pictured is Granite Creek Community Church’s Living Nativity scheduled for December 12-15, 2019.
The term “nativity” is defined by Webster Dictionary as “the process or circumstances of being born: BIRTH especially, capitalized: the birth of Jesus.”
That doesn’t exactly explain how living nativities look, smell and feel, however. In California we’ve uncovered over 30 nativity experiences this holiday season with plenty of camels, sheep, donkeys, bales of hay, mangers, costumed actors, choirs and volunteerism that brings holiday cheer and warms the heart.
Season Opener: Head for the San Diego County mountain town of Julian for an intimate Living Nativity Nov.30, 2019.
