If you’ve never seen the Necklace of Lights that wraps around Lake Merritt, casting a soft glow at night, why not visit during a special festival when there are even more lights to enjoy? Imagine several acres of gardens filled with lanterns, carved and lit gourds, ponds glowing from submerged bubbles, and electric fireflies flickering in the trees; all created by local Bay Area artists.
