John A. Thomas, a longtime California oilman and former Huntington Beach City Councilman, passed away on March 2, 2014 but he won’t be forgotten. Thomas’ oil wells continue pumping and a close friend is creating a museum in his honor.
“He was born to be an oilman,” said his pal, Ron Brindle, a landscape contractor, who’s creating “The John A. Thomas Oil Museum” expected to be open in 2015 on his 19-acre property in Huntington Beach.
