When is it a good day in Pacific Grove, Calif.? Every day, of course! But for those who remember the “good ol’ days”, there’s a better day when the annual festival comes to town–it happens April 5-6, 2014. Described as America’s Last Hometown, Pacific Grove is a picture-book perfect city along the Monterey Bay right next to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Pebble Beach’s 17 Mile Drive. Famous pine trees, beaches, a lighthouse, golf course and the spectacular Pacific Ocean provide the charmed setting for the two-day festival, now in its 57th year. Good Old Days include 70 bands (such as Moonalice,) Beer & Wine Garden, Carnival Rides, Petting Zoo, vendor booths, 30 food booths, Classic Car Show, Quilt Show, Firemen Challenge, Pancake Breakfast… the list goes on and on. Go there if you can.
