FEB. 13-23, 2014 It’s an exciting time in the desert when Palm Springs celebrates its Modernism movement with tours, free exhibits, the exciting Illuminated Modern, a Modernism Show & Sale, galas, films, dances and more! FREE TO SEE “lluminated Modern” is a nightly exhibition along Palm Canyon Drive that showcases a specially curated selection of 11 mid-century and contemporary buildings designed by prominent desert architects. Building exteriors are illuminated with a variety of specialty lighting styles and artistic colors projected onto the structures revealing the name of the architect and year of construction.
