Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Summer Festivals

What would Santa Cruz be without the Beach Boardwalk? Fortunately we don’t have to find out. While Seal Beach celebrates its 100th anniversary with old black & white photos and archived information about its Beach Joy Zone that entertained guests 100 years ago with a giant wooden roller coaster and Scinttilator Lights rides, Santa Cruz STILL has all the rides and the fun. There’s a lot going on in the Summer 2015 beginning with the Season Kickoff on May 16. This year’s free beach concerts include Eddie Money, Edgar Winter Band, Blue Oyster Cult and Berlin. If you’ve never been to Santa Cruz, the Beach Boardwalk is truly a step back in time to the joyful place where California beaches gained their fame as the fun summer destination.
