As you drive through Laguna Beach on the Pacific Coast Highway, you’ll usually come to a stop at a traffic light in front of the white, hexagonal shaped lifeguard tower building overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Main Beach. Next to it may be an American flag waving in the wind, and there are usually people sitting on park benches next to it, strolling, or playing games of basketball.
