Scandinavian Festival Rocks Thousand Oaks

If your idea of fun is playing a game called Kubb (Viking version of horseshoes) or dancing ’round the Maypole, maybe you’re a little bit Scandinavian. Hey, who doesn’t enjoy the smell of foods such as Swedish Meatballs, Aebleskivers and Swedish Pancakes? The weekend of April 14-15, 2012 is made for Scandinavian lovers!
The annual Scandinavian Festival (scandinaviancenter.org) was launched in 1974 as a way to educate and celebrate the history of the Conejo Valley which was settled by Norwegians in the 1890s.
