There’s no news like bad news at Fright Fest, a scare attraction at Six Flag Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, Calif. Actually the news is pretty amazing. After this Halloween season takes its run with 6 scary mazes and themed story-lines to scare your socks off throughout the park, the park closes until the Christmas holidays, like it does most every year. But in 2014, Six Flags says they are going to keep the theme park open all year long! This is great news for theme park fans in the Bay Area and beyond.
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is certainly the most unique in California, combining an actual Six Flags with an aquarium that includes killer whales and a host of wild animals and oceanic mammals and fish. It really is jam-packed with entertainment that you’ll enjoy. If you live in the area, a season pass might be the best investment this holiday.
