Solvang Danish Days is an annual celebration that pays homage to the Central Coast city’s roots. A hometown parade, costumed Danes, Aebleskiver eating contest and free concerts are included in this all free event (food sold for a fee.)
On Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 4 to 10 p.m. Addison Mills, Rock & roll band featuring Santa Ynez Valley High School students, Spun Honey, Mason Van Valin and Ron Miller’s Full Gallop Band perform throughout the village. Solvang 77th Annual Danish Days – Sept. 20-22, 2013, is a three-day event honoring the establishment of Solvang by Danish-Americans in 1911. See solvangusa.com
