When the City of Sonoma was named one of the Top 10 Friendliest Cities in America last year, officials didn’t miss the chance to brag a little (in a friendly way, of course.) Heart of Sonoma Valley Association which is hosting Savor Sonoma Valley on March 16, 2014, has a mission statement reflecting the well-deserved praise: “With 27 Tasting Rooms representing 34 Wineries, our mission is as simple and accommodating as our region: put a welcoming face on the pristine place we call home in the hopes that visitors and wine lovers to our stretch of wine country will feel as passionate about this place as we do.”
