Are you ready to “Spring Forward” on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 2 a.m.? Set your clock to go forward at that time. In addition to a time change, there’s a feeling in the air that summer’s just around the bend. The multitude of red cheeks in the L.A. area this past week weren’t from some sort of flu or coronavirus as many suspected but the temperatures that climbed into the 80s and higher.

It’s not officially spring but in 2020, the spring equinox  is earlier than it’s been in over a century, falling on March 19! With spring just around the bend the outdoor music festivals are ramping up to ease us into summer, the peak of outdoor music indulgence for millions of Californians.

Recently when several popular concerts announced their ticket sales had begun (Coachella, Napa Bottle Rock and San Diego’s CCRD,) the tickets sold out almost instantly. This weekend you’ll have to work hard to try to snag a ticket to CCRD but there are other music events to enjoy. It’s an ideal time to spring forward with music that will move & groove you into summer when things really get hot!
