California’s Sizzling Summer Surf Festivals

Are you ready for a California Surf Festival?
- Summer at California beaches is a chance for residents from the neighboring states of Arizona and Nevada to cool off. Tourists from the East Coast see it as a chance to get wet in the Pacific Ocean when the temperatures are at their best — 60s to 70s.
- For locals in Ventura, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Torrance, Huntington Beach, San Clemente and Oceanside summer is the time to celebrate some of the nation’s biggest, best surfing festivals.
- Next weekend (July 16-17, 2016) the bodacious Surf Rodeo in Ventura combines rash guards and wetsuits with Stetson hats and cowboy boots in an event that kicks up the dust with a whopping 35 bands on the beach! Bikini Cowgirl Contest and Cornhole Competition bring it on home.
- On the same weekend San Clemente Ocean Festival gathers up groms to gramps for surfing contests, water sports and the beloved Family Beach Party and Concert.
- All summer long there are surf festivals in California inviting the public to come. You don’t have to be a surfer to enjoy the fun!
