Pictured is a cropped version of art, “El Florero”, an oil on canvas painting by Julio Ferrer, a Cuban painter who has won over 20 prizes for his work, and was selected 2006 Artist of the Year of his province. “Classic cars are part of my culture as a Cuban,” says Ferrer. “I use them as a centerpiece for representing scenes and daily life of my country and culture.”
Art can be expensive and often out of reach. But that doesn’t have to be. There are more artists than ever offering greater options in art collecting for your home decor, appreciation and investment. The Affordable Art Fair in Los Angeles is a fantastic concept, showcasing talented artists you may not be aware of. You can purchase original works and often meet the artists, themselves. This show will offer contemporary paintings, sculptures and photographs priced from $100 – $10,000, with half under $5,000.
Showcasing nearly 300 emerging and established artists from across the world, as well as across Southern California, the curated group of exhibitors bring a fresh insight into contemporary affordable art in the area. See: affordableartfair.us/losangeles
