Escondido, National City and Los Angeles have already had mariachi festivals this year but there’s more in store. On May 9, 2015 The Battle of the Mariachis takes place at Mission San Juan Capistrano, where mariachi music is featured regularly. On May 12-16 Calexico Chamber of of Commerce holds its annual Mariachi Festival with Mariachi Idol contest and headliner Mariachi Divas. The Grammy winning all female band regularly performs at Disneyland so you may be able to catch them in California Adventure. Here are some mariachi festivals coming to California!
