It’s cold, it’s sweet, low in calories and it has big seeds that you have to spit. Welcome to the wonderful world of watermelon, a summertime favorite in California where the melons are delicious. 4th of July provides a great opportunity to participate in watermelon and seed spitting contests in many city picnics throughout the state.
