Weekend Festivals–Clovis Fest Hot Air Balloons

Among the most colorful festivals this weekend is Clovis Fest with its hot air balloons. The 39th annual event on September 21 & 22, 2013 is sponsored and produced by Clovis Chamber of Commerce (clovischamber.com). The first day of Fall is this weekend, which explains why Fall festivals are being held in cities such as Cupertino, Mill Valley, Los Banos and Tehachapi. There will be plenty of time to celebrate, however. Daylight savings “Fall back” does not occur this year until November 3rd.
