Each year the League of California Cities, a non-profit member organization of some 400 cities in California, adopts a strategy for focusing League efforts. This year the focus is on working with the state Legislature on issues of local control and diversity, according to the League president, Bill Bogaard. Prepping for an annual conference which will be held in Sacramento in September 2013, your city is most likely going to send a representative to the event.
