What’s it going to take to make you look hot (and cool) at the age of 50? Marina del Rey Hotel started sagging and drooping as it entered midlife crisis and guests couldn’t ignore it. Back in 2011 the were saying, “Great location, great views, but hotel needs help!” And they said it repeatedly, because it was a fact. Roll forward to Spring 2014 and visitors are impressed when they stay at the shiny hotel on the nation’s largest marina. Estimated cost: $20 million.
