Where’s My Watermelon?

Recently the Tucson, AZ mayor issued a demand for frozen watermelon treats amid record heat that gripped parts of California, as well. Though the weather has cooled watermelon is a hot commodity. It is used in Korean skin care products, is a popular ice cream sandwich ingredient, and watermelon is in high demand for 4th of July celebrations. In a fitting tribute to California the National Watermelon Association held its 2017 convention in Lake Tahoe.
