People love music–and they hate it, too. People love music when it’s summer time in the park, the music is free and weather is nice. They hate music when a neighbor is having a party, it’s after midnight and the noise is keeping them awake.  Summer concerts in the park and at the beach are planned optimally to be least offensive to neighborhoods and to provide the most entertainment at the cheapest price. The public is getting the benefit of a free show, so who can complain?
