Anaheim, CA-Just a few blocks down the street from Disneyland on Harbor Blvd. there's a new daily attraction that offers something unique to Southern Californians and visitors from around the globe. Approx. 15 million people come to Disneyland Resort in Anaheim each year, and the owner of " Battle of the Dance " is hoping that some of them will find this evening entertainment option the "A" ticket to their visit.
Battle of the Dance, conceived and based on the popularity of competitive dance shows, provides a visual feast that includes gorgeous, award-winning dancers from around the world who perform a dynamic fusion of traditional Latin, Flamenco, Celtic, Bollywood and Pop dance, all while guests in the audience eat a gourmet three course meal.
The Battle of the Dance theatre is a newly built 40,000 square-foot state-of-the-art venue with capacity for 950 guests. Tiered seating provides a view for every person in the audience in comfortable, cushioned chairs where you spend approx. 1 1/2 hours dining and watching the non-stop entertainment. Between the themed dance show that culminates in the Battle of the Dance, fantastic comedy acts and entertainment keep guests laughing.
The "dance", itself, steals the show, though the meal is delicious and includes optional alcoholic beverages for adults. The owner hails from Spain and it is rumored that wines from his vineyard will be an option in the future. The dinner includes a soup or salad first course, chicken or beef second dish, and rich dessert not to be forgotten.
The Battle of the Dance experience is available in two different packages – Gold and Platinum. The Gold experience is priced at $60 for adults and $30 for children and includes a sumptuous prix fixe menu. The Platinum experience is priced at $90 for adults and $45 for children, offering upgraded amenities such as VIP seating, a gourmet menu and access to the separate VIP lounge prior to the show and the opportunity to meet a selection of star dancers after the show.
