The serene Tamarack Beach will perk up when Carlsbad Beach Fest comes to town!

Carlsbad Beach Fest takes place on one mile of Carlsbad State Beach between downtown Carlsbad's Frazee Beach and Tamarack Beach. The event includes an incredible day of entertainment with four stages of surf bands and aloha themes, more than 50 food and beverage vendors, and competitions for all ages. You are invited to this free beach event held in North San Diego County.

In addition to three run / walk competitions, Low Tide Beach Run, Low Tide Beach Walk and Low Tide Kids Run, there will be Paddle Board, Surfing and various sports clinics and competitions.

U.S. Open Sandcastle winners Archisand are on board to build a huge sand sculpture, there will be beach cleanups, a dive cleanup lead by Legoland's Sea Life Aquarium, and countless activities and events throughout the day (hula hoop, Frisbee throw competition, games, etc.) all are designed to promote beach stewardship of this beach paradise. carlsbadbeachfest.com
