Congratulations to Moe Bonakdar & the employees of Charo Chicken on celebrating 25 Years in Business. Wow! That's really quite an accomplishment, especially in these tough economic times. Moe is a former Fortune 500 Executive, who earned an MBA, but always had a passion for cooking. That lead him to opening his first Charo Chicken in a former ice cream store on Main Street in Seal Beach. He now has 8 other Charos in Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Buena Park, Tustin, Long Beach, Lakewood, Torrance and Lancaster.

If you haven't tried Charo, it is the most scrumptious chicken, with delicious barbecue or lemon garlic sauces. It's also widely known for huge Baked Potatoes, Burritos, Wings, Tostadas and much more. Their prices are affordable and they have the most friendly staff found anywhere-a team that always tries to exceed customer expectations. Employees like Jose, Max, Manuel, Aileen, Jorge, Damian, Sandra, Carlos, Martin, Francisco, "Z", Maria and Abel are just a few of the outstanding, caring, enthusiastic workers who are the face of Charo.

As a happy Charo customer for 25 years, I've had the honor of getting to know many of Moe's hires and they are all all-stars. "The success of our business is because of the dedicated team and the support of our customers," Moe said. "Our guests not only made us successful in Seal Beach but encouraged us to branch out and serve other communities."
