PAST EVENT: Information for Oktoberfest  in  Long Beach, Calif. -A new California Oktoberfest event held this year in El Dorado Park in Long Beach features 17 carnival rides, unlimited, German Bands, foods, and the amazing grounds of El Dorado Park (just off the 605 Freeway) in Long Beach. O-Enterprises that puts together the summer Lobster Festival, went over to German and saw the real Oktoberfest, then brought it back to Long Beach and is holding it in the park. The parking admission charged by the city of Long Beach was paid for by the Oktoberfest event, so you don't pay to park, and you get a full day of entertainment with many kiddie rides, as well. This weekend is its last run, beginning Thurs. Oct. 28 through Sunday, Oct. 31.

We've been to: Old World Village Oktoberfest in Huntington Beach, Alpine Village Oktoberfest in Torrance, Oktoberfest at Phoenix Clum in Anaheim, and Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest, as well. None compare.

The 2010 Annual Long Beach Oktoberfest will be held October 28-31, at the El Dorado Park (at Fwy. 605 and Wardlow Road) in Long Beach, California. You won't want to miss this event. UNLIMITED CARNIVAL RIDES WITH ADMISSION, NO PARKING FEE, AND NO PARK ENTRANCE FEE.

17 Carnival Rides included ONE Price Admission (unlimited rides): Adult Rides — Giant Wheel, Wave Swinger, Bumper Cars, Sky Diver, Zipper, Gravitron, Spider, Tilt-a-Whirl, and Kite Ride. Kiddy Rides (located in Kiddieland) — Merry-Go-Round, Go Gator, Kiddy Kars, Trucks, Train, Canoes, Umbrellas, Hamptons, Dumbo, Airplane, and Berry-Go-Round.

Carnival Games: Darts, Bottle Pick-Up, Bottle Bust, Hoopla, Basketball, Hi Striker, Cover-the-Spot, Mirrors, Arcade, Derby, Water Race, and Roll-a-Ball.
