SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF.-The popular Launch Party on January 12, 2011 for an annual food event, Dine About Town, provides samples from participating restaurants in one venue-Cityview at Metreon, 101 4th St. in San Francisco beginning at 6 p.m. Participating restaurants in the 10th Annual city-wide discount dining event called Dine About Town will be on hand to tempt you into trying their cuisine provided in special menus and prices for 16 days in January. San Francisco is known for its diverse dishes, and this event gives you a chance to explore the culinary landscape that even the locals have a hard time keeping abreast of.

At the launch party guests can drink wines from the Bay Area and beyond. Music by DJ Jamon Iberico and a keepsake San Francisco wine glass are included in the $25/person ticket price, age 21+, space limited, public invited! Tickets sold at: dineabouttown.com. All proceeds will benefit San Francisco Meals on Wheels.

Participating restaurants include Bisou Bistro, Comstock Saloon, E'Tutto Qua, First Crush, Fish & Farm, Forbes Island, Garcon, Hyde Street Bistro, Luce, Ponsu, Roy's, Ruth's Chris, SILKS, Sociale, Swell, Tommy Toy's, Urban Tavern, Velvet Room and Waterbar.

Participating wineries and beverage stations include Chateau Montelena Winery, Domaine Chandon, Stolichnaya Vodka, Thirsty Bear Brewing Company, Treasure Island Wines, The Winery, San Francisco and Wente Vineyards.
