Only in California would you find skateboarder Tony Hawk lighting the world’s largest, Legoland Duplo block tree filled with little ornaments made of these same blocks and shaped like skateboards!

An Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Monday, November 28, 2011, showcases the special tree made of 245,000 forest green DUPLO bricks and a special cause, Tony Hawk Foundation, which helps build skate parks across the U.S. in low income areas. There’s much fanfare at the annual tree lighting ceremony, including a fireworks show. The event launches a month-long holiday Snow Days where the theme park has snow every day till January 2, 2012. All events require an admission ticket to the theme park.
