Snow must fall in Beverly Hills on Thursday, December 9, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. when Rodeo Drive becomes a winter wonderland at SNOW 90210 RODEO. More than 50 stores, seven gourmet food trucks and horse-drawn carriage rides along Rodeo Drive (with qualifying purchases) all bring delight on one special night, plus, Cañon Drive will also celebrate. Face painting, a scavenger hunt, holiday carolers, and a doggie parade where adoptable dogs are the stars of the show make the evening a special event filled with meaning. Beverly Hills isn't closing shop after just one holiday event or night, however. Throughout the season you can stroll, sight-see, sip, savor and celebrate like the stars do.
SoBev, the eclectic and hip South Beverly Drive, hosts a street fest on Saturday, December 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. with an appearance by Santa, live music, a balloon artist and more. Beverly Hills trolley will provide transportation from the Golden Triangle to the event.
On the 2nd & 3rd weekends in December 2010 a horse-drawn carriage provides rides around the Golden Triangle for $10 donation per person with all proceeds going to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. Look for Santa and Mrs. Claus to make appearances on their whirlwind tour through Beverly Hills – at Two Rodeo Drive and at The Paley Center for Media.
Holiday musicians – Dickens carolers, a holiday jazz trio and Caribbean-style musicians – set the mood on the Via at Two Rodeo Drive as they serenade shoppers throughout December. For more info: lovebeverlyhills.org
