A popular annual fashion show and tea held on the lawns of Heritage Square, a museum / complex of historic homes in Los Angeles, has twisted things around in 2011, and is taking its fashion sense right from the pages of classic novels. The fashions (including many vintage costumes) offer a glimpse into what literary characters-Elizabeth Bennett, Dorian Gray, Scarlet O'Hara, Jane Eyre, Daisy Buchanan-might have worn. There will be gents' fashion, as well.

Vintage Fashion Show and Tea sells out each year- reservations are required. Call (323) 225-2700 ext. 223 to secure your seats, as no tickets will not be sold at the door. Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children 6 to 12.
