Wacky, Fun Music Festivals in California

The lost art of accordion playing isn't so lost in Cotati, California, where each summer the town gathers 'round for one of the biggest accordion festivals in the nation. La Plaza Park in Cotati is where you'll find a statue of locally famous Jim Boggio. He was a large man with an even bigger heart, and he played the accordion exceedingly well. He helped organize the event that has become a tradition.
