Santa Claus & his Reindeer Grand Finale
The Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade celebrates the beginning of the Holiday Season in Downtown Los Altos the Sunday after Thanksgiving with colorful lighted floats, Marching Bands and costumed characters all lit up with thousands of lights. It comes to an exciting conclusion with the arrival of Santa and his reindeer!
This hour long event starts at First and State Streets and winds its way through town, ending at Whitney and Second Street. Originating in 1977, it is produced by the Los Altos Festival of Lights Association, a non-profit, all volunteer organization of community members. Funding is provided by donations and the sale of glow products on parade night.
Other community parks events in Los Altos include the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
